Greenpeace is a non-governmental environmental organization with offices in over 40 countries and with an international coordinating body in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Greenpeace states its goal is to "ensure the ability of the Earth to nurture life in all its diversity" and focuses its work on world wide issues such as global warming, deforestation, overfishing, commercial whaling and anti-nuclear issues. Greenpeace uses direct action, lobbying and research to achieve its goals. The global organization does not accept funding from governments, corporations or political parties, relying on more than 2.8 million individual supporters and foundation grants.

FINANCE MANAGER
The Finance Manager, as part of Indonesia Country Management team, is responsible for the overall financial management of the organization.

The role requires the individual to be committed to Greenpeace’s values and be able to participate and contribute actively in our international working environment, with people from different cultures who are based in different locations.

The person filling the role should have the ability to work independently, be able to take the initiative and make decisions and show attributes to manage and prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously whilst working to tight deadlines.

  • Financial Management (Planning, Control and Processing, Reporting)
  • Departmental Management
  • Policy Improvement
Essential to the role is a minimum of five years expertise and sound knowledge of Indonesian taxation and financial law. Substantial experience in leading on an organizations Financial, Accounting and Taxation matters as well as experience in management of a small team and demonstration of qualities as a good team player. Experience with SUN accounting system is preferred.
