Senior Production Technologist (SPT 0910)

Requirements:
* Competent in well model software i.e. PROSPER, GAP software.
* Familiarity with other Production Technology related software like Fracade, Stabview or OLGA would be an added benefit.
* Experience in production enhancement activities, well stimulation, work over and other technology application would be an advantage.
* Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering
* Minimum 6 years in oil and gas exploration, development and production activities
* Having good technical skills in Petroleum Engineering & Production Technology,
* Having good understanding in multi-discipline team concept in exploration, development to production (life of field)

Jobs Opportunity as Subsea Commissioning Engineer September 2010

We are a fast growing Consultant Company, currently is seeking for qualified individuals, to fill in following position:

Subsea Commissioning Engineer
(Across Indonesia)

Requirements:

* Education :
o Technical College Degree in Engineering


* Experience :
o Able to prepare general philosophy-type documents
o Experienced in working in the multinational organizations
o Experience in working in international Oil Companies
o Have a through understanding of subsea system comppnents and layouts
o Have agood working knowledge of applicable API and industry standards
o Have a minimum of 15 years upstream oil & gas experience
o Have at least 10 years experience commissioning subsea equipment
o Have experience preparing subsea commissioning procedures

* Basic Job Requirements :
o Review all necessary Pre-FEED documents and studies available at the Company related to development of the subsea facilities
o Prepare the Subsea Commissioning Philosophy for the subsea facilities. The philosophy to include but not limited to commissioning of:
+ Flowlines, risets, PLET
+ Subsea manilods and jumpers including well jumpers and flowline jumpers
+ Subsea umblicals (hydraulicchemical tubes and electrical cores)
+ Subsea traes including all down-hole gauges and tree mounted semsors
+ Subsea control sustem including:
# Subsea Control Modulea (SCM)
# Master Control Station (MCS)
# Topside to subsea power and communication systems
# Topsides hydraulic power unit (HPU)
+ Subsea Isolation valves (SSIVS)
+ Emergency Shut down System (ESD)
+ Chemical/MEG injection system from topside equipment to umbilical interface
o Interface with the HSE Departement to ensure commissioning activities will adhere to prject HSE requirements
o Recomended resources required to complete commissioning activities
o Determine logistic base support requirement for subsea commissioning activities
o Prepare a list of commissioning related design requirements to be included in FEED documents
o In consultation with the Subses Operations Engineer prepare an outline of the process for hand-over from Commissioning to Operations


* Other:
o Command of the English language written and spoken
o Ability to mentor and develop less senior personnel especially Indonesian nationals
o Bring your of certificates and latest ijazah

Role:

The successful candidate will be placed on either the Technical or Commercial desk dependent on suitability and will be trained in the principles of headhunting within the Oil and Gas sector.

The successful candidate will undertake:
* Appropriate advertisement of new and existing roles - drafting and placing advertisements using a wide range of media e.g. newspapers, web, industry publications.
* Use of technical and commercial knowledge to extend DRS-London contacts through networking at industry presentations, conferences, exhibitions and targeted high grade industry gatherings.
* Assist with the maintenance of the DRS-London candidate database
* Completion of further tasks will be required on an ad-hoc basis
* Searching and screening of candidates for suitable opportunities.
* Review applications, manage interviews and consider candidates and shortlists.
* Providing continual support to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
* Collect feedback from employers on the performance of candidates who have previously been placed with them.
* Clarification and negotiation of remuneration and benefits package relating to the role.
* Maintain current records and personal statistics for review against performance targets.
* Registering a range of professional candidates for permanent, temporary and consultancy work.
* Management of existing candidate relationships.
* Executive search - identifying and approaching suitable candidates.
* Contacting predefined candidates to introduce DRS-London


You have/are:
* A strong work ethic with the discipline to work diligently and independently
* The ability to lead a team and assist in company growth. For the right candidate, DRS will offer management exposure
* Ambitious with a desire to succeed, a sporting background would be beneficial
* The ability to confidently take on tasks beyond their role remit as and when required
* An undergraduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in a subject allied to the Oil & Gas sector but
* not a pre-requisite
* A good understanding of the oil & gas / banking & finance sectors
